I'm Amy. Ten years in China's foreign-trade sales taught me the best part of work is people — clients from dozens of countries, each conversation a window into another world.

Almost none of them spoke Chinese. So I wondered: why must English always be the bridge? What if more of the world learned my language, too?

Chinese is famously hard to start — strange sounds, four tones, thousands of characters. People see the mountain and never take the first step.

So I set out to build that first step — not a classroom, not an app, but something you can hold in your hands: 字帖，a Chinese character copybook made for beginners. Because you don't really meet a language until you write it. Trace each stroke in the right order, feel the characters take shape under your pen, and your first real sentences follow — one page at a time.
